Easter Seals Louisiana

Each year, Easter Seals Louisiana relies on private contributions from corporations, foundations and individuals for the funds needed to help cover the demands and mounting cost of providing valuable services to children and adults with disabilities in our area.

Your support enables Easter Seals to undertake important new initiatives, such as Early Childhood Development Project. This groundbreaking project supports teams of specialists & mobile therapy units in Mississippi Delta Regions of Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi. We now provide needed assistance for children with disabilities living in these previously underserved areas.

Approximately one in ten people in Louisiana has some form of disability. In too many cases, these people, many of them children, have no choice but to turn to a not-for-profit organization. Easter Seals Louisiana stands ready to help any person with any disability, at any time, as long as the funds are available. That is why your support is so vital.

Easter Seals Louisiana is a non-profit community based health care agency whose mission is to help children and adults of all ages with disabilities achieve maximum independence.

Since 1951, Easter Seals Louisiana has helped those with disabilities, and their families, obtain and effectively utilize resources helpful in developing their abilities for leading more purposeful lives. Easter Seals Louisiana maintains programs and services that create an atmosphere of acceptance toward people with disabilities. Over 150,000 individuals were helped in 2002 through the following programs and services:
